A RESOLUTION COMMENDING MR. JOHN LEMUEL WEBSTER UPON HIS RETIREMENT AS JUSTICE COURT JUDGE, POST 1, OF YALOBUSHA COUNTY.
WHEREAS, Mr. John Lemuel Webster is retiring after over 20 years of service as the Justice Court Judge, Post 1, of Yalobusha County, Mississippi; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Webster worked for the Tennessee Valley Gas Pipeline from 1951 to 1971 and moved with the company to Coffeeville, Mississippi; and
WHEREAS, in 1976, Mr. Webster was elected to serve the people of Yalobusha County as Justice Court Judge, Post 1; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Webster has been lovingly supported in all his endeavors by his wife of 51 years, Aedrostene; their daughters, Kathy Jones and Wanda Denley; and two grandchildren, Terri Shannon Jones and Paul Cliff Denley; and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the House of Representatives to recognize and commend such outstanding Mississippians as Mr. Webster, who has effectively represented the best interests of the citizens of Yalobusha County:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby commend and congratulate Mr. John Lemuel Webster upon his retirement as Justice Court Judge, Post 1, of Yalobusha County and extend to him our heartiest wishes for success in all his future endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to Mr. John Lemuel Webster and to the members of the Capitol Press Corps.
